Erdenet Mining Corporation — Electrical Automation Engineering & Design

Complete electrical and automation engineering works for the ore preparation Line 1 at Erdenet Plant’s copper concentrator were carried out in two phases.

In the first phase, a risk assessment of the current state of the ore preparation line was performed, an optimal power supply source option was identified, and a feasibility study was developed. In the second phase, complete engineering design was produced in accordance with the approved technology option.

The design scope included:

• Substation design and engineering
• Overhead and cable transmission line design
• Interior electrical and lighting design and engineering
• Exterior electrical design and engineering
• Automation design and engineering
• Geological and geodetic surveys
• Expert review and approval

All designs were developed under a single-brand, single-manufacturer principle to ensure uniformity of electrical automation equipment.
